I am looking for any additional information on the following marriage record from Grainger County, Tennessee: William ROBERTS married Mary CREWE 27 Nov 1803 I am guessing that the transcription is wrong and that it is CREWS (or a variation) not CREWE. I would like to find information that may prove or disprove that the William ROBERTS listed is my 4g-grandfather, I can prove he was in Grainger Co. at this time and do not know when his wife Ann VANDERGRIFF died. Surnames know to be associated with this ROBERTS family in this era include VANDERGRIFF, BUNCH, GROVES, HUNTER. Thanks for any information, Dan
