I don't have much information on them. The only other cite I have that specificaly mentioned them was:
McGehee Descendants by Ethel C. W. Grider. p 143. David Crew was born March 2, 1740 in New Kent Co., Va. married 1761 in Hanover Co and died Nov. 2, 1821 in Madison Co., Ky. He was a soldier in the French and Indian War and served in the American Revolution. He was sent with troops from Bedford Co, Va. July 1777 to defend the Fort at Boonesboro, Ky. After his tour of duty ended (18 months) he sent for his family. Quarreled with Daniel Boone over apportioning lands and moved to his own station six miles west of there. Operated a ferry across the Kentucky River. In will written 1819 left farm to son David. Married second time to Mildred Williford Kerlew, a widow on Dec 27, 1802. She was 23 and he was 62. His descendent said he was named David Milton Crews. First wife was Ann McGhea (or Annie) d/o Samuel McGhea and Mary Ladd. Children of David and Ann: Mary, Jeremiah, Elijah, Mildred, David, Nancy, John, Rhoda, Robert.

This book and the "Thomas Bell" book I mentioned before had the best notes. I suggest you check them and do a search on this board for David or Milton. It seems to me someone posted a copy of his will on this board so there is probably other information on him here. I have him with these 9 children.
