Would someone please help me with the confusion I have encountered in who John Crockett, son of Samuel Crockett and Jane Steele married. Did he marry Mary Polly Peery daughter of Thomas Peery and Margaret Dennis (she is also supposed to have married Samuel Peery, son of James Peery and Ellen Dennis). Or did he marry Hannah Peery who is in his will and who is the daughter of James Peery and Ellen Dennis, or did he marry Hannah's sister Harriet Peery. I have read he married his sister-in-law and had to go to Georgia to do so because he could not do so in Virginia. I really hope someone knows the correst information. Beverley
