While I'm looking at Anthony, all three of them, in fact, let me dust off that very good question Grace Hudnall raised about Elizabeth Crockett and James King. She posted: "I have recently come into possession of marriage bond & info from Warren Co (Vicksburg) MS, for marriage of James King to Elizabeth Crockett whose wedding took place on Sept. 9th, 1814 in the home of Robert McClure in Warrenton (Warren Co.) MS" They got the license the day before. On 8 Sept 1814, Warren Co, GA, James King and Elizabeth Crockett What Mike Taylor pointed out is that one Elizabeth King died in 1843 and that event was written into a Crockett/Curtis/Ross Bible. Mike suggested that Elizabeth could have been an aunt of Anthony C and Elizabeth. She would have been of the same generation as father Anthony. But as he died fairly soon after Anthony C's birth, we know she was not a step-mother. She would not have been in that family bible (which is where? ever abstracted?) unless she had something to do with Anthony C and his sister Elizabeth.
