Joshua H.? Deeds b. ca. 1798, possibly in Botetourt Co. VA. married Mary "Polly" McDonald, on Mar. 21, 1833 in Montgomery Co. Va. Mary was the daughter of Frederick McDonald and Sarah Elizabeth Halpain of Montgomery Co. Joshua and Polly lived in Montgomery Co. and then later Lee County, Va. Joshua Deeds was the father of at least seven children; 1) Charles G. Deeds b. ca. 1834, m. Amy J. Brunk 2) Elizabeth A. Deeds b. ca. 1836 3) Patterson or Peterson M. Deeds b. ca. 1838 4) Joshua H. Deeds b. ca. 1839 5) Jacob A. Deeds b. ca. 1848 6) Mary Mollie Deeds b. ca. 1852, m. Chas. Lyle Ely 7) George F. Deeds b. ca. 1856 L.D.S. records has a Joshua Deeds listed as a son of Peter Deeds?
