Attempting to determine where my ggg. g/m., Esther Job Deed (Deede,Deedes) may have come from. Born 1760's, m. Alexander Marr in New Brunswick, Canada c. 1790. She may have come directly from England or arrived here from the American Colonies with the United Empire Loyalists 1783-'84. There were Deedes in NY/NJ prior to the Revolutionary War. I'm told her middle name, Job, may provide a clue? Any leads, however remote, appreciated. |
