My GGGrandfather was Geo. Wash. Doane, his father was Wm.Harvey Doane and his father was Jehu John Doane b. 1799 in Cane Creek, NC died May 4, 1875 in Williams, Lawrence, IN-- which would be less than 10 years after his marriage to Carrie King? I only have his wife as Jane Marley born 1803 in Wilkes NC and mothere to my William Harvey Doane, Malinda, Lawson , Nancy, Lemuel, John, Henry, Elizabeth Betsy, Adam DONE, and Hannah Annie. Please let me know if you have more information about another line of descendants. I am currently trying to confirm the ties between Jehu and the Plymouth Colony Deacon Doane.
