Hello, Mary Caroline King is my Great Grandmother. Her daughter Maude Doane married Charles Burton. I am the youngest grandchild of Maude and Charles. My parents were both born in Lawrence county Indiana. There are two books published that trace this family of Doane's back to the 1500's to Deacon John Doane. My sister has the book that lists my family in it. I still have relatives that live in Lawrence county.
