Isaac and Mary Lucretia Puegh Doan went to Oregon in the late 1880's. Their son Harry went with them and walked most of the way to Oregon with a wagon train that left from Manhattan, KS. At the time I think they were living in Blaine, Ne as two children were born to them in Blaine, NE and I am not sure if Mary went on the Wagon train with them or came later by rail. They lived in Wallawa, Wallawa, Oregon until at least 1903 as I have pension records that they were still in Oregon at that time. They moved back to Bartlett and Glenwood, IA area. Mary died in 1913 and she was buried in Glenwood, IA.
I am looking for any information on this family in Oregon and Nebraska. I am also trying to find information about the wagon train that went from Manhattan, KS to Oregon abt 1898.
Thank you for your help. Kira Rickabaugh, mutterkira@hotmail.com
