This is the third message that I have gotten that referenced the Mayflower. There are way too many people out there who say they were descended from the Mayflower travellers and they were not. There were others who came on different ships about the same time and that is what people are trying to use. I don't believe any Snow was on the Mayflower but I know our Done was not. However there was a Constance Hopkins but I don't know if it was Constance Snow's mother.

I myself do not have a copy of the document but I know that Constance had a brother Mark who was a direct ancestor of Gordon B Hinckley who was the LDS prophet previous to the current prophet. The LDS church does have proof that the Constance Hopkins and the Daniel Done on my chart were married. It may not be in the form of a marriage certificate but may be a will or some other such document. I don't know if I can get anywhere with them not having any pull withing that church but I will try.

Frankly, I guess part of it being a Canadian, I never really saw the necessity to prove that I was a Mayflower descendent. Seclusion societies prove to be the cause of two many wars and in the past have been causes of much prejudice. I even found that with the canadian United Empire Loyalist Society. I know there have been different branches of my family in the USA since the early 1600's and at least 4 branches came from the USA to Canada 200 years or more ago.

I'll get back to you on what I resolve from my contact with the LDS church.
