HI, Sorry I didnt get back to you right away. I have a mystery in my family tree re: Downers. I have Daniel Oconnell married to Margaret Kalahen. She is his first wife. On one of the census's (now I cant find which one) I have daniel and margaret married and it lists their children. amoung their children are listed : Ellen Downer b. abt. 1859 Julia Downer b.abt. 1861 Margaret Downer b.abt. 1863 I dont know who these children are or how they are related. I thought maybe margaret was married once before and maybe Daniel is her 2nd husband, and those Downer children are from her first marriage but I have found no proof of that. What info do you have on the downers? Are any of them in the Livingston or Genesse county area of michigan? Thanks. Kim khawk@localnet.com
