Hmmm. My great-grandfather, Hugo Draeger, who married Augustine Von Wellman, had sons: Paul; Edward; George; Albert; William; Fred; and Charles Hugo (1875-1946), my grandfather. From the Black Forest of what is now Germany, they emigrated to the Cleveland, Ohio, area, where their descendents are busy populating the countryside. Given the similar names, I suspect that these men are related to your Fred. Let's keep digging.
