My husband's family come from Co Meath. I am trying to trace his fathers family. James Clarke married to a Mary Egan in Co Longford, James and Mary had 3 sons 1 daughter. James Junior was born in 1898 Babtism Record Ardagh and Moydow.Sponsor 1. John Irwin Sponsor 2. Brigid Callaghan. James Clarke Junior and his siblings came to Co Meath when he was 14yrs old around 1916 when there parents died i think, and he grew up and settled in Athboy Area Co Meath. any one know of the James Clarke family of Co Longford as i am having trouble tracing them back.
