I beleive I am descended from the same John Ellerbee. One of my ancestors was Sandlin Ellerbee, of Jacksonville Florida. His father John Ellerbee was born in GA. in 1808. Here is my question: Have you ever heard of any indian blood in the Ellerbee family. I heard that we have Seminole blood in the family. But, I'm not sure if it is on the Ellerbee side. My grandfather looked like he was a quarter or eighth indian. Also, I have found an Ellerbee in Florida who is a quarter Seminole.
