James Albert Fipps is also my husband's g. grandfather. His grandmother was Minnie Ann Fipps-Coffey from the Enid area. We have a picture of James Albert with my husband when he was under a year old. My husband is now 50. I know the Fipps are from the Licking Mo, area and the Anutt area. We are planning a trip to that area of Mo in October and was wondering what farm you were talking about in Anutt. My brother-in-law's family is from that same area too. He's a Matlock and his grandparents were Heavins. I have found where a Heavin married a Fipps, do you know anything of this? Where do you live? We live in Anadarko, OK and have visited the Canton Cemetary and the Dover Cemetary. Also found an older Hulda Edith Karp in the Sharon Mennonite Cemetary by Orienta. My mother in laws name was Berniece Coffey. I have meet Lonnie Kephart at a funeral in the past. Gary remembers a little about going to Canton every Memorial day and gets confused on some of the names in the area. Sincerely, Debbie Gerst 208 Walter Way Anadarko, OK 73005 405-247-5540 |
