I don't remember where I read this but...I read that a Watermann Fipps was married to Nancy Elizabeth Jolly (or Eliza, Elizabeth). Elizabeth reportedly had 3 children out-of-wedlock before her marriage to Fipps. One of the children was Benjamin Tillie or Tillman Fipps b.7/14/1858. He later changed his surname to Causee or Causey. This man is my GGGrandfather. Can anyone help?
