Hello Suzanne, Are you still doing research on Ludwig Frantz? I'm wondering if Jacob French who owned land in Antrim Township, Lancaster County, PA in 1748 might have been related to Ludwig. We believe Jacob's name was anglicized to "French" - possibly from Franck or Frantz. Jacob's son Henry married Elizabeth Earsom about 1770. Her father "Simon Ersame" came to America on the ship with Ludwig Frantz - the Townsend - in 1737. Thanks for any information. Deb Skoff
