In the 1870 Cherokee County, Alabama census a Margaret, age 50, and Amelia, age 20, Gentry are living the same household as George L. and Mary McGhee. What is the relationship with these 2 families? Is Margaret Gentry the mother of Mary? Is Richard Gentry, Margaret's husband? I am looking for any information on these 2 families. I am looking for any information on the Richard Gentry family that moved from Carroll County, Georgia to Cherokee County, Alabama before 1860. Help!!!
