With a birthdate of 1861, this particular John Wesley Kemp could perhaps be a son, but the man I am looking for came down to GA from Greenville around 1835 with a wife named Vienna (or Lovienna in some sources). He left the Cobb county area for Forsyth County, we believe after the 1850 Census, where both he and his wife were in the records. Request any information on the parents of the couple Luella Mae Major(b.1859) and John Wesley Kemp (b.1861)that your records show as married. This could help with locating the older John Wesley Kemp who was born in SC.
