Married – In Lumpkin County, Geo., on the 16th ult., by the Rev. Drury Hutchins, Dr. Wm. T. Foster, of Cumming, Geo., to Miss Abi A.L.R., daughter of Robert B. Haynes, deceased. Greenville Mountaineer, 23 June 1843, p.3

$20 Reward!
Broke jail on the night of the 30th ult., John M. Bond, who was confined on the charge of Felony. The above reward will be paid to any persons, who will deliver said villain to me at Cummings, or confine him in some safe Jail so that I can get him.
Description – John M. Bond is about 27 years old, about 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, weighs about 180 pounds, tolerable dark complexion, and has a down look when addressed, and particularly by a man he believes honest.
