Hi all, Looking for info on a Lazerus Chadwick brn NC,wife Lucy Stapleton. Would like to find who their son John Chadwick brn abt 1833 Buncombe Co NC,who did he marry,and who were his children?,and was John a Mason or was his father Lazerus Chadwick. Was this John Chadwick called big John the Mountianman?. I am still trying to no effect in looking for a possible connection to my GGparents John Chadwick brn abt 1830's Nc,and Mary Chadwick brn abt 1831 NC. Mary was still living age the age of 69 in Anderson co TN in the 1900 census,in the householh of her son also named John Chadwick brn abt 1852/60 Ga. Also in the househol;d were her 2 Gsons robert Chadwick age 18 brn abt 1882 Ga,and Oliver Chadwick age 17 brn abt 1882 Ga. They were the son's of Abraham Chadwick, of I believe Murray Co GA,and later Bradley Co TN.Have heard that Mary's maiden name may have been Hodgin/Hodgins. Any info on this family will be appreciated. Roy.
