Searching for information on a S. B. Owens family believed to be on the 1880 Gordon County, Georgia census as follows: Owens, Brickham - b. abt. 1857 Owens, Minda - Wife - b. abt. 1856 Owens, Sarah E. - Daughter - b. abt. 1877 Owens, William H. - Son - b. abt. 1879 Owens, Thomas - Something other than a direct relationship - b. abt. 1865 It is believed that "S. B." may be short for "Singleton Buchanan". S. B. 's father may be a Sanford Owens. There is a Sanford Owens on the 1860 Gordon County, Georgia census as follows: Owens - Sanford (39) - Owens - Penelope (34) Owens - Isabella A. (6) Owens - Singleton B. (3) Kelly - William (58) Kelly - Lucy (63) Would appreciate any help anyone can give regarding this Owens family. Thank You.
