I am researching some of the families that lived along the Oostanaula river south and west of Resaca GA. Berry W. Gideon and Henry McConnell were among the early settlers of Gordon County GA. They had connecting farms along a bend of the Oostanaula river. Dr. B.W. Gideon arrived in Gordon county before the Indian removal and is burried at a family cemtery on 1 acre of his estate. Any one related to any of these families?
