I'm desperately seeking information on an individual named Frank (perhaps Francis?) Thornton. I know very little about him or his family, so I'd like some help from you genealogical detectives out there. Here's what I know about Frank: He married Anna (Annie) Irvin in Georgia. They had at least one child: Alice Thornton, born around 1892 in Georgia. Outside of that, I'm assuming that Frank and Annie got married in one of the counties where Annie's family lived: Pike, Hall, or Jackson (in chronological order). Annie was born in 1868 in Pike County. She had remarried by 1898. That's all I know. I would appreciate any help you could provide, especially family members. Surely, someone knows about the Thorntons in this area, and could offer up info. Please email me at r.aycock@comcast.net with any info or advice. Thanks so much!! Robert |
