Nel, I do not know what you have on Hampton Smith. He was on the 1860 and 1870 census for Milton County. He bought and sold lots 15 & 16 in city block 1 of Alpharetta. I am trying to create a map of early Alpharetta. I do not know exactly where these lots were, but City Block 1 was the NE quadrant of Alpharetta. Howard Knight
