Update, The Gilleland Store was located on road from Roswell according to Court of Inferior records: Court of Ordinary and County Commissioners met for County purposes Tuesday, Oct 3rd, 1876. Present S. L. Rucker, Wm. J. Cook G. H. Hook, Ambrey Martin and H. W. Paris. In the matter of the counter petition against the road leading from near the residence of Wm Gilliand, by the residence of Mrs. Rhoda Chatham and James Maulden, Ordered that the prayer of said petitioners be refused and that said road remain as a public road. A petition from divers citizens of Little River District was read, asking that the road leading from the Roswell Road near Gillilands store, on to the residence of Samuel McCleskey, be changed, so as to run around instead of through Mrs. Stewarts field. Application granted. Does anyone have a plat map for Little River Dist?
