Hi, I am a direct descendant of Claiborn Vaughn. His son Thomas was the father of Charlie Vaughn, who fathered Jim Vaughn, who fathered Ernest Vaughn, who fathered Warren Vaughn, who fathered me. I am new to the study of genealogy having only fooled around with it for a while. I am stuck at Claiborne (Caburn, Claburn, etc) but have sent away for a DNA test that I hope will help me. I have walked the cemeteries at Mt Pisgah, so i know my reserch is accurate up to Clayburn, but I am at a dead end. Any help you might have would be appreciated.
