Who was John J. MATHEWS parents? He lived in Crawford and Taylor County. John J. Mathew was married April 3, 1834, his birth date is about 1809. He married Frances Emily Cummings in Crawford County, GA. She was born January 26, 1816 or 1819. Their children were William, b. 1835; Sara, b. 1838; Benjamin, b. 1842; Elizabeth; and Frances Emily, named for her mother, b. February 22, 1844, d.
