Virginia: Thanks for your reply. How do I join the Taylor County Mailing List? The Amersons you mentioned did not help, at least not yet. I only have 5 generations of Amersons. The Jesse I'm looking for is my husband's grandather. I know that he worked in Pike County at Jugtown. I have a book called "Brothers in Clay" that mentions his name. I need to have his parents' name. I am told by my mother-in-law, Corine G. Amerson, who will be 101 years old next month, that Jesse was raised by someone he called "Aunt Hun." I feel Hun is a nickname. She also said he only had one brother named Evans. I need help in this matter. Thanks for your response. Dot Amerson
