I'm seeking information on Monroe Humphries, only known surviving child of DuBose Humphries and Susan Fannie Ruffin Humphries. Monroe was born in Taylor Co GA circa late 1870s or early 1880s. I do not know where he settled, he had relatives in Texas and Georgia. Monroe’s paternal grandparents were Thomas DuBose Humphries and Effa Ann Carter of Taylor Co. GA. His maternal grandparents were James J. Riffin and Sarah Averett, also of Taylor Co GA. Monroe was a nephew of my great grandfather, Bascom Humphries.
