Need parents of John and Nancy Ricks. Their graves are in Taylor County, GA. John's reads, "John T Ricks Died Dec 25 1861. Nancy's reads, "Nancy Ricks died 1896 age 96"

1860 Census for Taylor County shows Nancy, age 68(?), living with Isaac J Ricks, age 31, apparently her son. Nancy Ricks' name appears on a list of widowed Taylor County mothers of Confederate soldiers entitled to a ration of salt 1862-1864. Also living with them is Sarah Ricks, age 72 and blind. John Ricks is not on census.

1850 Crawford County, GA, Census shows John Ricks, 53; Nancy Ricks, 51; Sarah Ricks, 55, blind; S. S. Ricks, 19; I. J. Ricks, 16; M??? Ricks, 14. John, Nancy, and Sarah are born in NC, others are born in GA.

I have this family on all censuses back to 1820 in Crawford County. John would have been 23 at that time, Nancy 21, and Sarah 25.

Believe John to be a descendant of Isaac and Kathren Rickesis of Isle of Wight County, VA, but can't put pieces together. HELP!!!
