Since posting this, have learned that the Henry Joiners and Johnsons were in Taylor co Ga. They lived not too far away from each other. Also it looks like it might be Matilda Johnson (widow) who is Jonathan's mother. If anyone has the 1840 & 1850 Taylor co Ga census and could look these up for me, I would appreciate it.
