My Knight family stayed in Union County, GA from about 1844-1848. Can anyone tell me any research materials which might have lists of people living there during that time. Do people at the court house do any look ups for deeds, tax payers, etc? I am not very familiar with this county and have only been there once to find marriage records. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated as my library has nothing on this county in Georgia.
