Ten years of trying to prove that Margaret was a Bernard have proved fruitless. I am now convinced that she was indeed the wife of Ralph Rowzie before she married Daniel. The Bernard imported in 1654 along with Elizabeth by R. Lawson, could not have been the child of Daniel. Daniel alluded to the fact that Bernard and his sister Mary were under age when he wrote his will in 1682. I don't want anyone to read my old message and think Margaret was a Bernard! I think the answers to her identity (if in fact there are any)lie in England. Mandy
