I have just recently located the German origins of Gottlieb b. 18 Oct 1800 and Matthäus Gölz/Geltz b. 15 May 1804. They were both born in Winterbach, Oberamt Schorndorf, Württemberg, Germany. They were the sons of Johann Georg Gölz d. 1806 and Rebecca Neuffer. Matthäus' birth exactly matches his tombstone at Lebanon Lutheran Church Cemetery, North Hopewell Twp., York County, Pennsylvania. Gottlieb's grandfather, also named Johann Georg Gölz was a native of Boll, Oberamt Göppingen, Württemberg, where the Gölz name is common.
