Springfield, IL) - October 17, 2006 Deceased Name: Clyde E. Goben EAST PEORIA - Clyde E. Goben, 88, of East Peoria, formerly of Pekin, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006. He was born Sept. 6, 1918, in Mason County, the son of Clay and Bessie Force Goben. He married Jessie Nall in 1942. Mr. Goben retired from Caterpillar management in 1981 after 41 years. Survivors: wife, Jessie; three daughters, Barbara Goben and Frieda (husband, Donald) Shinall, both of East Peoria, and Margaret Voll of Pekin; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce Goodin and Margie Reitz, both of Clearwater, Fla. Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Hurley Funeral Home, Havana. Burial: Bethel Cemetery, rural Chandlerville
