There was a Pliny Earl Goddard who was instrumental in the founding of The Goddard Association of America (now The Goddard Historical & Genealogical Society). As I recall, he was associated with Kodak in Rochester, NY. You might contact the Society at goddardfamilies@gmail.com and perhaps they have info about this Pliny Goddard.
