Richard, My "Going" ancestor was Mary Going born about 1801-03,who married Richard DELANEY, probably in Ireland. They arrived in Canada (York, now Toronto) about 1825 and settled in nearby Streetsville. Richard died about 1830 leaving Mary with 2 children. She was buried in the Streestville Cemetery with her second husband. The tombstone said she was ' of Co. Tipperary, Ireland'. I have not found her birth, baptism or marriage records in Ireland but it is difficult to search as I don't know exactly where she came from. Any assistance would be apprecaited since I've almost given up on tracing this family back any further. I don't know if she was related to the Goings who settled near Kingston, Ontario. Regards, Sandy
