My family of Gribbles starts with John and Hannah Gribble (gggggrandparents) had a son William who married a Delia (Dalilah) Gribble, had a son Vincent (Vinson) married to a Charlotte Temple Jordan, had a son Joseph W. Gribble married Nancy J. Wood, who had my Grandfather William Wood Gribble who married Lauretta Shirer who had my dad. How sure are you that Hannah's last name is Thompson? The places Somerset Co. PA, Preston Co. WV are the same as my ancestors. Does this sound familiar?
