I'm trying to find out more information about the ancestors of my great-grandfather, Charles William Hackett. His father's name was William, but I'm not sure of his mother's name. In some places it looks like it might be Ida A. Randall, but I'm not certain that is correct because I can't confirm or document it. Here is what I know: My great-grandfather was named Charles William Hackett, born in either Kansas or Missouri around August 1880, and died in Enid, Oklahoma in July 1961. Charles' father was named William Hackett and he died in Enid, Oklahoma. Charles was married to Bertha Gensman, born in March 1880 in Wisconsin and died in May 1938 in Enid, OK. Charles and Bertha had four children: Irene F Hackett (my grandmother), Myrtle, Louise, and Billie. All of the children were born in Enid, Oklahoma. They moved to Great Bend, KS for a while, and that's where my grandmother Irene graduated from high school. If anyone has information on the ancestors of Charles Hackett, please let me know. Thanks.
