Hello, Brian! I am glad to hear of your interest in my grandpa. Unfortunately, I only know him through pictures and articles, and I am sure he was a remarkable man. I know my mom has pictures of him and my grandma on the boat to Burma with other missionaries from the church, and some from Burma, but I don't know about any at your church. My mom might know of some. I was able to use Ancestry.com at the library I manage (we have free access) to find some yearbook pictures and passport applications for their trips to Burma, and even some ship passenger lists from those trips. I could try to email you what I have found, and try to get my mom to make some copies of what pictures she has and send them to you. However, my uncle Earl Hackett there should have some pictures also; have you contacted him? I'm sure he would be happy to help you. I would also be interested in seeing the articles you found, or their source, which may be available in the newspaper database we can access at the library.
