Martin Hackett was I'm told b. 1814 Ireland, where ???. He was married twice, first to Elizabeth ? b. 1832 Ireland, where ???. Their son Andrew was b. NY in 1853, where ???. Family in 1860 census Pittsford, Monroe Co. NY By 1870, Elizabeth has died and Martin has remarried Mary Doyle, widow of John Doyle (Found them in 1860 also). Mary has 4 children; Thomas, Anna, John, and Lawrence. Martin and Mary have 3 children from their marriage, Martin, Mary and Franklin. (Andrew, Martin's son w/ Eliz. is there of course.) By 1880, still Pittsford, Martin and Mary have only their 3, Martin, Mary & Frank with them. Andrew Hackett has married Anna, b. Eng. where ???, and they have 2 children, Elizabeth and Martin. 1900 Andrew & Annie Hacket have had another daughter, Amma Theresa b. 1883. All 3 children are still at home. Elizabeth Hackett m. ? Fisher Amma Theresa Hackett m. Edward Waterstraat Martin A. Hackett m. Anna M. Doud, daughter of Thomas Doud & Julia Kane. Interested in immigrant Martin Hackett's place of birth, his birth family, when he immigrated and arrival place. Any help greatly appreciated.
