I know it has been a while since you posted your querry but I'm going to try anyway! My Mother was a Haga before she married. She is the d/o John David Haga and he is the s/o Silas Haga b-1837 and Mary Josephine Williams, Silas is the s/o David Haga b-abt 1806 and Ann Stepp b-abt 1808. David was born in Rockingham Co, VA and so was Silas. Ann is also from VA. The family was in Washington Co, TN abt 1860. Silas married in Washington Co, Tn and then later moved to Morgan/Madison Co, AL. I have always been told that our Haga's were of Scandinavian descent. Just what country they were from I don't know. Any Help would certainly be appreciated! I tried to email you but it was returned!!
