My Daniel Harrigan's 1923 death certificate indicates he was born in Belfast Ireland on July 2, 1838. It was prob. July 2, 1841 as indicated by 1901 & 1911 censuses. His folks were Neil Harrigan & Helen or Ellen McCormick both born around 1805 in Ireland. Daniel's sibs also born in Ireland were Patrick 1835, James 1837, Neil 1840, Hugh 1844, and a female child born 1846. Helen and the kids arrived at Grosse Island on Aug. 11, 1846 and were forwarded to Montreal on Aug. 12. The report said her husband came out last year. We just got a 12 of 12 99% DNA match with this family through my father thus knocking some bricks out of an old brick wall.
