Hi Looking for assistance to trace ancestors of my grandparents Grandad Andrew Thomas Harrigan b1906 in Ireland d 19/1/1993 in Slough, Berkshire, married Rosanna Keogh on 13/4/1936 at St Conleths Parish Church, Newbridge. Around 1950ish he came to England (Beckenham in Kent) to secure accommodation before the family of 7 children followed. Grandad had worked in the rope factory. Grandad had a younger brother John who died in Ireland c1900. Grandad always said his cousin was Bing Crosby, but being young, I never took much notice of this, how I wish I had paid more attention to him. Andrews parents were John and Nelly Kane (Ellen) both from Kildare who married 13/4/1903 in Naas. Their marriage certificate give their fathers name as Finton Harrigan and Peter Kane. Rosanna Keogh b20/9/1908 Kildare d8/9/1988 was one of 11 children. Her father was Thomas from Hawkfield died c1963 and her mother was a Lysaght. As far as I am aware, all of nans siblings remained in Ireland If any of this rings any bells, would love to hear from you and exchange information. Regards An-Marie
