Details I have on his father are:- Name: Edward Teague HARRIGAN Given Name: Edward Teague Surname: Harrigan Birth: in Cork Ireland 1 Death: Abt 1825 in PORT DALRYMPLE, TAS 1 Immigration: Immigration- Arrived in Australia on 21 Aug 1791 on "Salamander" as a convictHe moved to England before 1789 as he was tried in Somerset 05/10/1789 & sentenced to 7yrs at Bristol court of quarter sessions for stealing 2 coats. He was subsequently transported to Australia on the 3rd fleet convict ship he was granted land (30 acres) in Launceston, Van Diemans Land (Tasmania) on 30/06/1823. It had to be taken up within 5 years. One of the boundaries was the Tamar River and another was Simpson's Farm.
