Hi, I wonder if there may be a connection between our 2 families. My Grandfather Andrew Harrigan was born in Newbridge in 1906. He had a brother John. Grandad married Rose Keogh whos parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Lysaught. I have very little info on his ancestry. I do know his Father was called Finton. As a child I recall visiting a member of his family in Hawkfield. A picture of an Edward Harrigan used to hang in his sitting room. Don;t know how Edward is related to my grandad, but I do know Edward had a hotel, the first hackney carriage firm in Newbridge and won prizes with his horses.
