Oates Hattaway was my grandfather's brother.He was Leon C Hattaway. I have been told that their father's name was Herman H(born 10/27/1868)died (12/18/1925) and mother was Mattie Donaldson (born 03/03/1871)(died in 1948). Herman's father was "Babe"(I am not real sure about the spelling) and mother was Sara Wise. I Have had a hard time getting past this. If anyone else knows more, please let me know. My father was Hubert D. Hattaway from Opp. I am trying to trace back my family tree and also see where the Indian comes into our family. Please let me know if you find anything.
