I am not related to the Hollenbeck's except through marriage. I have a great aunt who was married to Peter Hollenbeck in the early 1800's. They are listed in the 1860 census of LeRoy township Genesee Co. NY Peter Hollenbeck 44 M Carpenter b in NY Catherine 38 wife F born in NY Frank 18 m work hand b NY George 17 M Clerk born NY. Catherine was a Josselyn I am not sure when she and Peter married Probably 1840's. She and Peter are both buried in LeRoy Genesee Co. NY. Hope this is helpful to someone.
