I discovered a tombstone in the Dickenson (Old Palo) Cemetery in Linn County, Iowa that just reads "Our Father" engraved at top, no first name is visible. Died Feb. 28, 1877, 82y, 8m, 14d, Hollenbeck. I calculated the birth date using these numbers to 17 June 1794. Checking my database I find that my 3rd Great Grandfather, John Hollenbeck was born on (it is believed) 14 Jun 1794 in New Salem, Albany County, New York and died on 28 February, 1877 in Linn County, Iowa. I am convinced now that the "Our Father" tombstone is his. Any comments? W.C.Wall
